Radbrook Primary School’s Lorraine Fletcher has been awarded the prestigious Severn Bridges MAT’s Above and Beyond Award for thirty years of outstanding commitment to the school.
For thirty years, since 1996, Lorraine has been an integral part of the Radbrook family, contributing her talents across an extraordinary range of roles: Volunteer, Lunchtime Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, After School Club Supervisor, IT Technician, and so much more. In every position, she has made a profound and lasting impact on the children and the wider school community.
Lorraine’s purpose has always been clear: to go above and beyond, to make a difference, and to leave every space and every person better than she found them. Most recently, she has poured her energy into gardening with the children, inspiring them to care for their environment and nurturing a genuine passion for nature.
Her dedication extends far beyond the school day. Lorraine played a pivotal role in transforming the front of the school, rallying volunteers through her social media platform and leading a remarkable community effort — even through a snowy weekend — to create a welcoming, vibrant space for all.
Lorraine is, quite simply, the heart of Radbrook. Her kindness, creativity, and unwavering love for the children shine through in everything she does. Our school is richer, warmer, and more joyful because of her.
