Severn Bridges celebrates Christmas with a Santa Online Singalong

Each school got all of its children together in their school halls this afternoon to join a huge Severn Bridges online Santa Singalong, with each school taking its turn to perform a Christmas song for the other schools and Santa to enjoy.

First to sing was Short Wood, who treated everyone to a rousing rendition of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, followed by Greenfields Primary School who sang a brilliant “I wish it could be Christmas everyday”. Mount Pleasant’s children were next with “Midnight”, which they performed beautifully. Over at the Haughmond Schools, Harlescott Junior School were “Rocking around the Christmas Tree” and the children at Sundorne Infant School sang “Santa Claus is coming to Town”, both of which went down a storm. And last but definitely not least, Radbrook Primary School gave a wonderful performance of “Merry Christmas Everyone”.

Santa watched on delightedly, and it was a great opportunity for all of the children to get together virtually to celebrate Christmas and show off their singing skills.
