It’s great to see the Trust Board working with the school leadership team, to constantly find ways of improving the provision of educational services, which enable every child to reach their full potential. We are also proud of the number of other local schools that have joined the trust recently, or are in discussions with us to join.

This is a Board who care deeply for the Trust, its schools and Communities. It is clear that the Trust is committed to its vision and values and the notion of a community of schools that collaborate with each other to benefit their children and staff.

It has been very rewarding to continue to be involved in local education, getting to know the staff and children, supporting new initiatives and celebrating success.

Having only become a Trustee in Autumn 2024, I have greatly appreciated the warm welcome I have received from Trustees, Executive officers and headteachers. I look forward to playing my part in helping in moving the Trust forward and making a difference and securing positive outcomes for all the children and families we have the privilege to serve.

The Severn Bridges MAT has given me the opportunity to learn more about Primary Education, in particular how hard headteachers and their staff work together as a team! I have really enjoyed my time as a Trustee and look forward to seeing the MAT expand in the coming years.
